Looking for this artist...

The above picture is one of my "muse" photos I'm basing one of the characters on in my YA series. When characters introduce themselves to me, I try to find songs and images that help me retain their presence and mood. This is my boy, Ventus. And since I'm such a fan of artists and believe they deserve all the credit and money they can get, if anyone knows where I can find the soul who drew this, please point the way so I can at LEAST link to him/her.

To those who find this a might-bit scandalous... sowwy. I absolutely love it!

I find myself willfully going off task. I need a writing group. That's all there is to it. Editing 5 books simultaneously can be a little daunting. The moment I fire up this computer, my brain goes to a happy place and just wants to start stalking facebook updates.

I haven't launched this site yet, so to the few of you who have tripped over it, congratulations! You will get to see me change this site over the next few weeks as I prepare to launch "City of Angels." I think I'm actually more excited this time than I was the first time around. Last time was so much stress and investment, while this time it's all happening rather magically while I'm not looking.

In the mean time, I need a writing group. Seriously. Becca? E? Jessica? I'm so roping you in, but if anyone else out there feels like being roped in to a ton of reading and feedback, let me know! I have a lot of editing to do and not a lot of time, so here we go!

Book 1: A New Look and a New Title!

The title "Spies, Lies and a Pair of Ties" has officially retired its jersey and donned a new uniform entitled: "City of Angels." On its way out of the stadium fans heckled, crying, "We never liked your title to begin with! We're glad you're going! 'City of Angels' is so much better!"

Poor thing. It's name wasn't its fault. It was mine. Totally. ANd I would have kept it, but when Cedar Fort approached me to re-release the books they insisted two of the titles be changed (I fought for Stalk Lake City). And I told them, if they were changing the title, I would have to change the content for people who ended up buying the book twice--as someone is bound to. They at least deserve bonus and extended scenes, right?

So here's the new cover for book 1, with it's new title. And I have to admit, I'm kind of getting excited!

Hope you like it, because this is it. The title isn't changing again :)
