Whitney Finalists

A big congrats to the 212 Whitney finalists.

Check them out at the official page here.

Who knows. Maybe Rhea will be nominated for 2013, since UnPleasant Grove is eligible.

To learn more about nominating any of the books you like that are written by LDS authors, click here.

And, as always, thanks for reading!

Two Tips

Hi all!

Two quick thoughts:

Tip #1
I'm getting feedback that some readers are really glad they read "The Avenues" before "Unpleasant Grove." So if you haven't read Ty's version of what happened between books 1 & 2, I'll officially give you the tip that reading it might make Book 5 more of a fun ride. (And readers, feel free to chime in on this recommendations and share your thoughts.)

Tip #2
I will teaching a class at this year's Storymaker Conference. It will be on Saturday, after lunch. So if you plan on attending, I would love to see you there!

That's it. You may now get back to the intrigues of life. :)

Reviews--One Thing Authors Can't Do

It's always a happy day when a review pops into my mailbox. Today's came from Meridian Magazine, and was Jennie Hansen's review of Unpleasant Grove.

Woot-woot!

Jennie has her pick of books to review. I don't even want to see the stack of books next to her bed, so I have to say that I feel a little honored that she chose to review UnPleasant Grove so closely to its release date. You can read the entire review here.

Oh, and for all of you who are wondering when the paperback is coming out, it's going to be this month (February). When I know the exact date, I'll be sure to post it here and on Facebook.

Until then, feel free to write a review yourself! If you don't have a blog, then sites like Goodreads, Amazon, and similar sites are good. (I have to admit I'm a little addicted to Goodreads. I look up reviews on every book before I read it now.)
